Marc R. Partowihono is the founder of HonorWays Consulting, a Suriname-based consultancy providing advisory, project management and training services with a focus on the responsible and effective use of technology.
Marc brings more than 20 years of combined professional experience across telecommunications, higher education, insurance and entrepreneurship. Over the course of his career, his experience has included ICT management, ICT advisory and project management, as well as business system implementation. He holds an MBA and a PRINCE2 Foundation certification.
More recently, Marc has expanded his focus into Responsible AI, building on his existing technology and management background. His interest is particularly in helping individuals and organizations understand, adopt and use AI responsibly.
HonorWays Consulting brings together this broad professional experience with his growing focus on Responsible AI. At the heart of HonorWays is a simple principle: technology should serve a clear purpose and create real value rather than be adopted for its own sake.
His recent professional development in AI includes the AI For Business Specialization from the University of Pennsylvania, completed through Coursera, as well as Google AI Essentials. He has also applied these skills in practice by contributing to the adoption of AI within an organisation, developing an AI chatbot solution and delivering introductory AI training.
